My daughter Carla wanted me to pull out
some of my old magic tricks for her 4th birthday party.
So I dusted off a few old props, made her a show, and everyone
was delighted (myself included)!
Then a friend
wanted me to perform at HER child's party...ANOTHER
HIT! Then a friend of theirs wanted to HIRE me.
I decided then and there to enjoy this
budding new land of opportunity, the best part being I could
now buy some new tricks!
Of course, there was more to it than
that, such as joining a local magician's assembly, reading
countless magic books and periodicals, hobnobbing with other
magicians, attending a magic conference, etc. etc.
But best of all, it's been a BLAST! Entertaining
both children and adults has been very rewarding, and certainly
a dream-come-true.
And now a website! Move over, Mr. Copperfield!
